1. About this service
Paralegal Seat is an online directory that helps landlords find independent, licensed paralegals across Canada. We are a directory only — not a law firm, and not a party to any engagement between a landlord and a paralegal. We do not provide legal advice.
2. No lawyer–client relationship
Using Paralegal Seat does not create a paralegal–client or lawyer–client relationship. Any such relationship is formed directly between you and the paralegal you choose to contact and retain.
3. Listings & verification
Paralegals are responsible for the accuracy of their own listings, including licence numbers, rates, and specialties. While we ask that all listed paralegals be licensed by their provincial regulator, you should independently confirm a paralegal's standing before retaining them.
4. Payments
Paralegal Seat charges paralegals for Premium memberships, skill add-ons, and hero placements. We do not process payments between landlords and paralegals and take no commission on legal work.
5. Limitation of liability
Paralegal Seatis provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the conduct, advice, or outcomes of any paralegal listed in the directory.
